Alternating with water is a tried-and-true way to both cut back on alcohol and stay hydrated, thereby preventing a hangover.  If you’re trying to cut back on calories this month, go to the bar and ask for some water every drink or two. You don’t need to make excuses for this: You’re thirsty and will get another drink in a second. Just be sure to finish the water and feel free to take your time.
