Forager Botanicals’ perfumes are handmade in Brooklyn, by Casey Coyle, who used to craft scents by combining water with flower petals from her grandmother’s garden. Fast-forward to today and after a successful career as an art director, she founded Forager. Each of the four scents comes in a roll-on or spray formulation, and organic botanical bases are used when possible. All of the scents are sulfate, paraben, artificial color- and preservative-free, and vegan. The Island Lei perfume is richly vanilla- and sandalwood-based with tropical flowers as top notes.
