Here’s a reason to stand closer to the AC: As humans, we can generate as much as a gallon of sweat in two hours. Sweating developed as our body’s natural way to release toxins through our skin, and luckily, keeps us from panting like Fido instead (dogs don’t sweat). Also unlike dogs, we don’t shed a furry coat in the winter, but we do lose an average of nine pounds of skin each year. That’s a lot of dust.
