Nail polish brand essie has not surprisingly, been all over the place at New York Fashion Week over the last few days. From Altuzarra to Alexander Wang, essie’s perfectly crafted nails were elegant yet trendy, which is why this next peice of news is such a perfect fit:  fashion designer Rebecca Minkoff was just announced as essie’s Global Color Designer.

The spring collection, called Flowerista, is essie and Minkoff’s first line together hitting stores worldwide in March 2015. The rainbow of colors is the perfect boost of flower power for a fresh spring look.

Minkoff began working with the essie brand at New York Fashion Week in 2012, and has since then continued to build upon their relationship, creating chic looks year after year. Their synergetic relationship seemingly made filling the Global Color Designer spot an incredibly easy one.

Most recently, Michelle Saunders for essie created an edgy, rock ‘n’roll nail look for Rebecca Minkoff’s fashion show at NYFW, complete with a red and black zig zag pattern and a neutral base, using Berry Naughty ($8.50) and Midnight Cami ($8.50) for the design.

The colors in essie’s spring collection are super cute, so we’re excited to see what’s next for the brand’s newest partnership.
