Hollywood starlet Rosario Dawson and ex Bottega Veneta communication executive Abrima Erwiah started a global impact brand, Studio One Eighty Nine with the hopes to deliver fashion with a dose of humanity. Today, they’re proud owners of a booming, sustainable brand packing the room at New York Fashion Week. It’s not just their superstar quality that attracts the likes of fashion VIPs. The designs all come with a dose of women empowerment and local Ghanaian flavor.

This season, the design duo focused on loose silhouettes and batik prints. Ruffled bright dresses adorned with polka dots and multicolor stripes. Following the theme of the season, men’s and women’s looks walked side by side, complementing each other with the summery vibes.

Dawson and Erwiah chose black and white ensembles as they closed out the show and gave people the performance of the season. It’s all about fun, diversity and a global presence at this brand, and we’re all about it.
