6. Beware of Adding Extra Carbs

The novelty of baked ziti pizza may be appealing, but unless you’re carbo-loading for a marathon, that amount of carbs is more conducive to a deep food-coma sleep than a fun night out with friends. Have pasta or pizza—not pasta on pizza.

7. Blot (Discreetly!)

Technically, blotting the grease from your pizza will save you a few calories (the amount depends on the size of the slice). But it really depends on your comfort level with your dining companions — and the availability of napkins.
